Industry leaders such as Elon Musk have called for a pause on the rapid development of AI, and AI experts themselves have compared the seriousness of AI risk to the pandemic or even nuclear war. Department of Education issued a report in May calling for an “AI Bill of Rights” to assure that humans are in the loop whenever AI is used in schools.
